Arthur George Moore grew up in Kirkby, Liverpool. He discovered his passion for art whilst studying A levels during his education in the 1970’s at Ruffwood comprehensive school, Kirkby. Arthur went on to serve the British Army after his school days. He then worked for 26 years as a postman at Bicester then went on to work as a Civil Servant. Arthur now works for Kuehne and Nagel at Bicester.

Arthur has always seen art as a hobby and has recently been getting more and more involved. Primarily Arthur does watercolour painting, but recently has now progressed onto pastels and brusho mediums for capturing the mood and beauty of wild animals, family pets and portraits.

Arthur lives in Oxfordshire with his partner Pauline; he enjoys walking around the countryside, taking many photographs to use as inspiration for his watercolour paintings. Arthur loves to paint using his imagination and inspiration from the local environment.
